Quality Monitoring

Order Progress Process

Upon receiving an order, we immediately engage with suppliers to discuss and develop a detailed critical path, identifying key stages and milestones to ensure smooth progress. This plan highlights the critical stages involved, ensuring that each phase is meticulously monitored and executed.

Risk Assessment

After the sampling stage and before production begins, our team conducts a thorough risk assessment meeting with the manufacturer's team. The goal is to identify potential risk factors and develop strategies to minimize them. Additionally, the PJB Apparel team continuously monitors the production process to address and reduce any identified risks, ensuring that the final products meet the highest quality standards.

Weekly Progress Report

We conduct daily meetings with our team of merchandisers, quality controllers, and logistics staff to review and update the overall status of each order. These meetings help us stay on top of progress, identify any potential issues early on, and ensure that all aspects of the production process are aligned with the project timeline.

Pre-Production Check

To minimize risk, we perform a comprehensive pre-production check that includes an inspection of all material components, accessories, and user manuals. This step ensures that everything is in place and meets the required specifications before production begins.

Initial Production Check

As soon as the first batch of finished products is completed, we conduct an initial production check. This involves comparing the finished items against the buyer's specifications and the approved prototype sample. Any deviations are identified and addressed immediately, ensuring that corrections are made early in the production process.

During Production Check

Throughout the production process, we carry out regular inspections to verify that any initial discrepancies have been rectified. These checks also ensure that the overall quality standard is consistently maintained across the entire production run.

Inline Pre-Final & Final Inspection

A final random inspection is performed once the entire consignment is packed and ready for shipment. This inspection is conducted according to International Inspection Standards and includes a detailed physical examination of randomly selected samples. The inspection covers all key criteria such as design/style, shrinkage, accessories, appearance, markings, color, labeling, material, assortments, workmanship, measurements, and packing. This thorough process ensures that the final products meet the buyer's specifications and quality expectations before they are shipped.

LABORATORY TEST

Comprehensive Laboratory Services:

PJB Apparel is dedicated to meeting the stringent testing requirements of our buyers, whether for finished products or at any stage of the production process. We strictly adhere to our customers’ Code of Conduct (COC), along with their specified testing manuals and methods. All necessary tests are conducted by reputable third-party laboratories, either domestically or internationally.

To ensure that no banned chemicals are used in the finished products, we maintain strict vigilance across all our vendors, agents, and manufacturing units. Sunshine Attires Ltd. is also highly committed to both chemical and physical testing. To guarantee product safety, we frequently conduct tests on fabrics, garments, and trims, ensuring that our products meet the highest safety standards.

Fabric Testing:

  • Construction Details: We thoroughly examine the construction particulars, including yarn counts, fabric construction, and weight, to ensure the fabric meets the required specifications.
  • Strength and Durability: Our tests assess the strength of the fabric and its seam performance to guarantee the durability and reliability of the final garment.
  • Measurement Accuracy: We verify that all measurements are precise and consistent, ensuring that the fabric will perform as expected in production.

Performance Analysis:

  • Flammability Testing: We evaluate the fabric’s resistance to flammability, ensuring it meets safety standards.
  • Dimensional Stability: We test for shrinkage and stability under both washing and dry cleaning conditions, ensuring that the fabric maintains its integrity and appearance.
  • Appearance After Care: We assess the fabric’s appearance after washing or dry cleaning to ensure it retains its look and feel.
  • Fiber Analysis: We conduct detailed fiber analysis to confirm the fabric composition and quality.

Color Fastness Testing:

  • Washing Resistance: We test the fabric’s color fastness to washing, ensuring it retains its color over time.
  • Resistance to Perspiration: We assess how the fabric’s color holds up under exposure to sweat.
  • Light Exposure: We evaluate the fabric’s color fastness to light, ensuring it doesn’t fade when exposed to sunlight.
  • Rubbing and Abrasion: We test for color fastness against rubbing and abrasion, ensuring that the fabric won’t bleed or fade during use.
  • Bleaching and Dry Cleaning: We test the fabric’s resistance to bleaching agents and dry cleaning processes, ensuring it can withstand these treatments without losing color.
  • Heat and Pressing: We assess how the fabric’s color holds up under hot pressing and other heat treatments.
  • Dyes & Pigment Tests: Our laboratory also conducts extensive tests on dyes and pigments to ensure they meet the highest quality standards.

Garment Testing:

  • Dimensional Stability: We test finished garments for shrinkage and stability under washing and dry cleaning conditions to ensure they maintain their fit and size.
  • Appearance After Care: We assess the appearance of garments after washing or dry cleaning, ensuring they remain visually appealing and retain their original design and shape.
